If you are a Palm Beach State Art Dept., Lake Worth fan on facebook you might have seen the recent post on Street Art in London. Most my students know that I am here in London for an art exhibition at SDC Gallery. Today I walked around the East End of London (near Brick Lane) looking for Urban or Street Art. Here is a piece you might enjoy. It is actually carved into the side of the building. The white is the surface of the wall and the colored parts are carved away revealing the stone below.

And remember to respect the property of others, you can make urban art inspired art on canvas. Afterall, if it is good enough for Banksy it's good enough for you.
